Good Friday

asunset

The Long Day Wanes

The long day wanes,

And,

Shadows carry

The rising darkness

To completion.

Slowly, slowly

The dimming light retreats,

While the heart

May grieve the day without

The hope of another just like it.

The white-hot yellow sun is gone down.

The cool moon rises

To cast new shadows

In a magic world of blue’s night black,

Where the true nature of things

Seem larger and simpler

And

Dare us

To embrace them.

The time is near,

I fear,

The time is near,

While preparing to lie down

And

Sleep

Sleep

Forever sleep.

I feel the dare myself this morning, Michael…….feels like a most powerful full (and blue) moon about to burst and pour down on us. The ancestors are breathing close to our ears, our hearts.
Big Love to you and Andie.

Suns and moons, our earth spinning, hard to remember the bigness of it all sometimes.

    “This” is vast, isn’t it?
